Bio + CV

Alexandra (Zana) Wright is a student and an active member of the slash/slash generation, seeking to explore the full extent of her creative complexity through projects fusing the aural, visual and spatial. She is a vagabond on the highway of education, about to finish a Masters of Architecture at the AAA in Aarhus, having studied at UTS and the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, and at the Technische Universitaet in Berlin.

2011 – exhibited at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space as part of a larger conceptual artwork

2011 – ‘Pop-up Kasbah’ installation exhibited at Mils Gallery, Sydney

2010 – 1st prize winner of ‘Time of the Signs’ hoarding design competition for future UTS construction with ‘The Periscope’. Proposal under negotiation to be built 2011.

2010 – Presented The Diversity Machine and the Resilient System studio project at Sydney Pecha Kucha

2009 – National finalist in SONA Superstudio Student Architecture Competition
